I think winter cold is starting to affect us all. Ash is walking around crying at everything. If I ask her to do even the smallest thing she starts to cry.

We lost our beloved President and Prophet of our church Monday. He was an amazing example of someone we should all try to emulate. He was loving, kind, generous, innovative, open minded, funny. He was larger than life. Every time he spoke he asked us as members of our church to be more loving and kind to each other and especially to never judge others who were not of our faith. He will be missed.

In a matter of hours after his death was announced Ash got a text to wear Sunday best in his honor to school the next day. The texts spread like wildfire. In every high school in Utah and some middle schools many kids went to school the next day in dresses, white shirts and ties. The news channels couldn't believe how the word got around. I was amazed myself.
