Arrrggg!!! I wrote this whole entry about our trip to Disneyland and then I hit something and poof, it's gone! Ack, I hate to rewrite stuff. Although sometimes my entries are better when I have to do it over.

Here it goes....

Last week we went to Disneyland. Yes, we went in July...in the heat. Everyone thought we were crazy. We just rolled our eyes and said, "please we have been in the summer before, in August even, and it was great." Well, it was great except between the hours of 1:00 and 5:00 p.m.

It was stifling. It was crowded. We stood in line and driped sweat. As soon as we couldn't stand it anymore we headed back to the pool and vegged. Sierra loved it and cried if we took her out.

She was happy with the $6.00 virgin pina coladas I kept giving her.

On one of the days we took the kids to Newport Beach and after searching for a parking space for about an hour we trooped off to the waves.

Sierra didn't like the sand or the cool water. The waves were huge, Jackson and Ashley ran out into them, pretty soon Scott couldn't help but dive in with them.

Scott soon found himself a little too far out and was having trouble swimming back in, he felt something tell him to look around and he did. There was Jackson with "deer in the headlight eyes" He was about to go under. Scott barely was able to pull them both back to shore. We decided the beach wasn't that much fun and prompty packed up and went back to our nice safe hotel pool.

Sierra was wonderful at Disneyland and in the car. She slept most of the trip and when she was awake the kids kept her entertained. We had a wonderful time except the heat and paying $50 buck for every meal. I think I ate my weight in churros....drool....

The last pic was in the car on the way home. Sierra was pooped. Four days in the park four days on the road. A scary day at the beach and more fun and fireworks than we could handle.

It was a great trip.
