I'm finally coming down off of the great Halloween sugar high. I woke up laying in a sea of candy wrappers wondering what I did all weekend. Just kidding it wasn't nearly that bad. There are mysterious candy wrappers all over the house. It's a bad sign when I wonder if I left them there and don't remember eating them or if the kids did. Strangly enough there is even a few bags of leftover candy.

We have this really freaky candy bowl that has a bald mans head in a dish, it looks so freakin real. When you reach in to get the candy that is nestled around his head his eyes open and in a creepy voice he says..."Are you sure you want to do that?" It has a few other phrases that crack me up but I like that one for the after Halloween candy.

Halloween was the typical crazy day, getting everyone dressed and ready. Scott dressed as a yummy vampire and Noelle was the most gorgeous devil. she saw that costume two years ago and we shopped early enough that we found it.

JUst as we were getting ready to take the everyone trick or treating Noelle went down in the basement for something and ran upstairs yelling that there was water all over. Panic ensues as we look at all our stuff floating around the basement. Scott figured out he had left the hose on while watering our new trees. I can't tell you how glad it wasn't me! Woo! We spent a half hour sucking up the water, Scott nearly broke his back bailing out the window well.

Nothing was ruined and it wasn't as much water as it looked like. Halloween was saved and we were off to our old neighbors to trick or treat.

Jackson was the most adorable nerd with painted on zits, Ash was pre-ball Cinderella, Noelle was the most glam devil and little Sierra the cutest strawberry.

It was a Halloween we will never forget
